TATE ELLIS

Tate Ellis is an energetic and dedicated drum instructor with a deep passion for music and teaching. Since first picking up drum sticks at age 10, Tate has immersed himself in the world of drumming, developing his skills through a variety of styles, from rock and jazz to funk and marching percussion.

Tate is in his final year of a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Calgary, where he’s expanding his musical knowledge and honing his craft. As a long-time member and educator in Calgary’s marching bands, Tate has not only performed on some of the city’s biggest stages but also helped other young musicians achieve their goals and grow as performers.

Tate is ready to help students of all ages and levels find their rhythm and reach new heights. He’s excited to share his passion for drums at Rock U Canada and help every student become the best musician they can be!
