RISING STARS (Grades 4-6)
Welcome to Rising Stars, our invite-only advanced band for young musicians who can’t put their instruments down. This program is built for the kids who wake up thinking about music and are ready to take things to the next level. Students will tackle more challenging songs, refine their musicianship, and push themselves as part of a tight-knit band. Along the way, they’ll collaborate on setlists, develop their sound, and take the stage for multiple live performances.

Is My Child Ready for Rising Stars?
Rising Stars is our invite-only kids band, designed for young musicians who are ready to take things to the next level.
In most cases, Rising Stars students have been playing their instrument for 2–5 years, have prior band experience, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
If you feel your child should be considered for Rising Stars we’re happy to set up a short 15-minute audition to assess their skills and see if it’s the right fit.
All Rising Stars students are required to be enrolled in private lessons alongside the program. This ensures they have the individual support needed to keep up with the more advanced material and continue progressing as musicians.

JOIN A REAL BAND
We group kids by age, experience, and instrument to create bands that click. Your child will rehearse each week with the same group, building skills and confidence.
GROW AS A MUSICIAN
Playing in a band helps young musicians develop timing, listening, teamwork, and stage presence. It’s the perfect next step alongside private lessons.
MAKE NEW FRIENDS
Kids Rock is about more than music—it’s about belonging. Bandmates become teammates, and rehearsals are full of laughter, encouragement, and connection.
ROCK THE STAGE
Each season ends with a real live show at a local venue. It’s an exciting, memorable way for kids to share what they’ve learned—and feel like true rock stars.
2026/2027 SCHEDULE
Our 2026/2027 Rising Stars band runs from September to June, giving young musicians a full season of weekly rehearsals, skill-building, and teamwork. Students will work toward three exciting live shows, putting everything they’ve learned on stage in front of a cheering audience. Full season, real growth, and unforgettable experiences!
