Choose Your Instrument | Find Your Sound
Not every musician starts with the same instrument, and that’s exactly how we like it.
At Rock U Canada, every lesson is personalized around your goals, favourite music, and experience level. Whether you’re chasing your inner Slipknot, Elton John, Dave Grohl, or Hayley Williams, our instructors help you build real skills while having a blast.
Choose from:
- Guitar Lessons
- Bass Lessons
- Drum Lessons
- Keys & Piano Lessons
- Vocal Lessons
Weekly lessons are available in convenient 30-, 45-, or 60-minute formats, giving every musician the flexibility to learn at their own pace and fit their schedule.
Not Just Lessons | Find Your Band
Learning an instrument is awesome. Playing it with other musicians? Now, that’s where the magic happens.
Imagine if the Avengers only trained separately; they’d never have saved the world. Great musicians are the same. Bands teach you how to listen, adapt, communicate, and create something that’s bigger than any one instrument.
Our Rock Band Programs help students experience music the way it was meant to be experienced: together.
Little Rockers Welcome | Kids Programs
Every rock legend had to play their first note. Our youngest musicians begin with programs designed specifically for their age and development.
Sweet Child 1 (Ages 5–6)
A playful introduction to rhythm, singing, percussion, keyboards, and guitar that builds confidence while making music feel like the greatest game ever invented.
Sweet Child 2 (Ages 7–8)
Young musicians begin exploring multiple instruments before eventually joining a real band, developing rhythm, teamwork, creativity, and confidence along the way.
Kids Rock (Ages 8–12)
This is where things get loud, in the best way possible.
Students join a real band, rehearse weekly, make lifelong friends, and perform live on stage at the end of the season.
Rising Stars Advanced Kids Band (Ages 8–12)
Our invite-only performance group for young musicians who are ready to push themselves even further.
Turn It Up! | Teen Band Programs
Teen years are made for discovering your own voice. Whether you’re writing your first original song or learning your favourite Foo Fighters anthem, our teen bands help students develop musicianship while building confidence that extends far beyond the stage.
Teen Spirit Jr. High (Ages 13–15)
Build strong musical foundations while learning how to perform and collaborate with a real band.
Teen Spirit Sr. High (Ages 16–18)
Take your musicianship further with more challenging songs, polished performances, and stronger stage presence.
Headliners (Ages 13–18)
Our audition-based advanced performance group for dedicated musicians ready to tackle bigger challenges and bigger stages.
It’s Never Too Late to Rock | Adult Programs
Remember that guitar sitting in the corner collecting dust? This is your sign. Whether you’re 18 or 80, music doesn’t come with an expiration date.
Electric Youth (Ages 18–25)
Find your people, build your skills, and experience the excitement of performing with a real band.
Shine On (25+)
Designed for adults of every experience level, Shine On lets you rehearse, perform, and become part of an incredible musical community.
Bring Your Own Band (25+)
Already have a band? We’ll help you sharpen your sound, improve your performances, and take your music to the next level with professional coaching.
Why September Is the Best Time to Start
Starting in September means you’re joining at the beginning of a brand-new season. You’ll grow alongside your classmates, learn songs together, build friendships, and prepare for performances from day one. It’s like jumping into a brand-new Netflix series at Episode 1 instead of trying to figure out what’s happening halfway through Season 4.
Everyone starts together.
Everyone grows together.
And everyone gets their moment to shine!
Why Rock U Canada?
Sure, we teach scales, chords, rhythms, and technique. But what we’re really teaching is confidence and artistic identity.
Our students don’t just learn songs; they perform them.
They don’t just practice; they collaborate.
They don’t just attend lessons; they become part of an incredible music community filled with passionate instructors, supportive classmates, and unforgettable experiences.
Because music isn’t meant to stay in a practice room.
It’s meant to be shared!
