Straight out of Quebec, Andrew is a multi-instrumentalist and versatile rock music instructor our Calgary students love learning from. He brings a rare mix of classroom teaching experience, live performance energy, and a passion for helping students explore their musical potential – one chord, one beat, or riff at a time.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Pop and Jazz Music Studies from Bishop’s University, Andrew blends strong musical knowledge with proven teaching methods to create an exciting, hands-on learning experience for his students. Whether on guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, or vocals, his lessons strike the perfect chord between technique, creativity, and confidence-building.
Andrew is also a valued member of the band One to Walk, where his stage presence, musicality, and collaborative spirit truly shine. He brings this same energy to his role at Rock U Canada – especially within the Teen Spirit Program, helping young musicians level up and perform like the pros.
From foundational chords to advanced improvisation and lead work.
Groove, timing, and locking into the rhythm of a song.
Techniques, patterns, and performance skills for every style.
Unique opportunities for students to expand their musical range.
As part of Rock U Canada’s Teen Spirit Program, Andrew helps young rockers build confidence, refine their skills, and step into the spotlight.
Andrew combines the creativity of a seasoned and passionate musician with the patience and adaptability of a professional and ever-evolving educator. His lessons are about more than just learning notes and staying in the right key; they’re about finding your unique sound, unlocking your musical potential, and building the confidence to share it with the world.
