Summer Camp Policies

ROCK U CANADA – SUMMER CAMP POLICIES & AGREEMENT

By registering your child for a Rock U Canada Summer Camp, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all campers.


REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

  • Your child’s spot is confirmed once registration is completed and full payment is received.
  • Full payment is required upon registration to secure your child’s place in the camp.
  • Refunds are available for cancellations made at least two weeks before the camp’s start date. A 10% administration fee will apply to all cancellations.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date or for missed days due to illness or personal reasons.

ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY

  • Drop-off begins 15 minutes before camp starts. Please ensure timely arrival so that activities can begin on schedule.
  • Pick-up must be on time. Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
  • If your child will be absent, please notify us as early as possible. No refunds or make-up days are provided for missed camp days.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Food & Snacks: Campers must bring their own nut-free lunch and snacks each day. Rock U Canada does not provide food.
  • Health Concerns: Parents/guardians must inform Rock U Canada of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, allergies, or relevant mental health concerns upon registration.
  • Emergency Contacts: Parents/guardians must provide emergency contact information and be available in case of an emergency.
  • Medication: All medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be labeled and handed to camp staff upon arrival. Staff will securely store and administer medication as required.
  • If a camper shows signs of illness, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately for early pick-up.

CAMP CONDUCT

  • Campers are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior toward fellow campers, staff, and the camp environment.
  • Bullying, aggressive behavior, or repeated disruptions will not be tolerated. If behavior issues persist or are serious in nature, Rock U Canada reserves the right to dismiss a camper without refund.
  • Campers are responsible for treating instruments and equipment with care. Families may be held financially responsible for damages caused by misuse.

ELECTRONICS POLICY

  • Personal electronic devices (phones, tablets, etc.) are discouraged during camp hours.
  • If a device is brought to camp, it must remain turned off and stored away unless needed for an emergency.
  • Rock U Canada is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal electronics.

LIABILITY WAIVER

By enrolling your child in a Rock U Canada Summer Camp, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Participation in music activities involves some inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or property loss.
  • Rock U Canada, its directors, employees, instructors, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, illnesses, or claims arising from participation in the camp, including entering and leaving the premises.
  • Parents/guardians assume all responsibility for their child’s health, safety, and well-being while at Rock U Canada.
  • Rock U Canada is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please label all personal belongings.

MEDIA CONSENT

  • By participating in Rock U Canada’s programs, you grant permission for Rock U Canada to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child for promotional use, including but not limited to:
    • Website, social media, and promotional materials
    • Print or digital advertisements
    • News publications and media communications
  • Rock U Canada retains copyright ownership of all media content produced.
  • Personal information (such as names) will only be used with prior consent from the parent/guardian.

AGREEMENT

By completing your child’s registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by Rock U Canada’s Summer Camp Policies.
